The SHGC is excited to announce our field trip to Cindy Shapton's farm on Saturday, May 5th beginning at 9 a.m. Cindy Shapton is a gardener, speaker, author and blogger behind "The Cracked Pot Gardener". She has owned two herb farms in the past. She will give a lecture on herbs followed by a tour of her garden. She will have books and plants available for purchase for those interested. Members will be sent directions to her farm via email.
Don't forget on Sunday, May 6th from 10 am til 4pm is the Williamson Co. Master Gardeners Association "Garden Festival". It will be at the Franklin Farmer's Market. Our club will have a table there giving away freebies. So come on out and support both groups!
